What's The Objection? Part II: The Arab World led by the Saudi's are outraged that terrorists have attacked and killed Arabs and Muslims. This is confusing. For decades now, the West has been told by the "Arab World" and some European nations that murder is understandable when employed within the context of "class struggle". This is the argument we hear in rebuttal to U.S. and Isreali demands to stop the suicide bombings of Temples, pizzaria's, and markets in Isreal.

Do we not hear from "the Arab World" that the "West" must understand that they- the Arabs- don't necessarily view the actions by Hamas and Islamic Jihad as terrorism as does the west. That "the West" must strive to understand the desperation of those who employ these tactics. How often have we heard the quote "one man's terrorist is another man's Freedom Fighter"?

So, exactly what is the objection of "the Arab World" to the attacks in Saudi Arabia and Turkey? Seems like "the Arab World" needs to start trying to understand the desperation of those employing these tactics.....
State of the Democrats Part IV: Having wrapped up their war on southern voters by accusing them of being rednecks who love and fly the Confederate Flag, on minorities and women with the declaration that the judicial nominees are "neanderthals", the Democrats led by Ted Kennedy have now set their sights on senior citizens. They have declared war on AARP and are apparently preparing to attack head on. As of this writing, they are desperately trying to find a way to tie AARP to "big business" and the Bush Administration.

It seems that the Democrat leadership hates George W. Bush SO MUCH that no voting block is sacred! Their own voter base is apparently no longer viewed as a dedicated voter block. They are expendable groups through which the Democrats can attack Bush. Who's next on the Democrat hit list? Maybe they'll attack the ACLU......

What's The Objection?: Okay, exactly what is it that the anti-war protesters are against? Is it:

a) That Saddam Hussein is no longer butchering his own people?
b) That Saddam's torture chambers are now closed?
c) That Saddam will never attack Iran, invade Kuwait or make a move on the Saudi oil fields?
d) That millions of Iraqi's are now living in freedom and are able to decide the future of their own country?
e) That the U.S. is fighting and killing murderous terrorists that hate western values and will kill westerners to make their point?

I'm sure the anti-war protesters must object to at least one of these if not more or otherwise, why are they protesting?
Where's the Leak Investigation?: Okay, everyone's so concerned about leaking to the press, where's the investigation into who leaked an on-going prescription drug investigation to the National Enquirer? Someone gave that paper the details of an on-going drug investigation in Florida that involved Rush Limbaugh and his housekeeper. I'm not hearing a lot of outrage or demand for heads to roll over blowing an investigation. No one in the media may be able to show me the outrage, but I can show them the hypocrisy....

(P.S. what ever happened to the Martin family? You remember, the couple that illegally tape recorded the wireless phone call of Newt Gingrich and then leaked it to a Democrat in the Senate who in turn leaked to the press?? Come on, I'm sure you remember....)
State of the Democrats Part III: A quick review:

a. Civil Rights Act of 1964- The Democrats, while holding both houses of congress, cannot must enough Democrat votes to pass the legislation. Republicans provide the bulk of the votes needed to pass the Civil Rights Act.
--Al Gore Sr.- as well as a majority of sitting democrat- voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1964

b. George Wallace

c. Confederate Flag- Sen Fritz Hollings (D- SC), then governor of South Carolina signed the legislation mandating the display of the Confederate Flag over the State Capitol Building

d. KKK- Sen. Robert Byrd (D- WV) is a former KKK recruiter and still freely uses the "N" word in his day-to-day routines. This was displayed during an interview with a network journalist that he had to abruptly apologize for after it aired on television

e. Supreme Court- Senate Democrats fought a pitched battle to keep Clarence Thomas off the Supreme Court

f. Democratic National Committee- The Democrats (Clintons) put Terry McAullife in the DNC Chair over a highly qualified African American candidate, the then Mayor of Atlanta I believe

g. Governorships- The DNC yanked support and funding from an African American candidate for the job as Governor of Florida in favor of Janet Reno

g. Judicial Nominations- Senate Democrats are fighting desperately to keep six women and minority nominees off the curcuit court

h. Attitude- Senator Ted Kennedy referred to the six minority and women nominees as "neanderthals"

Tell me again which party it is that's insensitive to minorities???

State of the Democrats Part II: A friend of mine that happens to be a democrat (yes, I have friends that are democrats and if you'll finish reading this post, you'll see why) asked me to post a message for him. He sent an e-mail to Senator Tom Dashcle and to the DNC through their web site today and he has asked me to post it as an "Open Letter" in my Blog. So, for William, "An Open Letter To Democrat Leadership":

"I am writing as a life long Democrat that cannot for the life of me figure out what the "Inside the Beltway" Democrats are doing and if you even know you are destroying our party? I selected Judicial Issues as the topic of this message because that is a large part, but on virtually every issue of public concern today, I see our party in self-destruct mode.
A friend and fellow democrat told me on Friday that he will be sitting out the '04 election because he cannot relate to our party which he calls the "Archie Bunker Party of the 21st Century". He cited our apparent effort to ban minorities and women from moving up the judicial bench. He asked me rhetorically, how can we presume to tell women and minorities that we are their party if they see us as the ones not just voting against them, but waging a battle against them that borders on hate?
"For me to think that at this point in my life I would be equated to Archie Bunker by a fellow democrat rattled me. What rattles me more is that I cannot refute what he said.
"Another disturbing trend I've seen in our party is to trash our efforts in Iraq. As a veteran, I have to wonder if anyone in our party understands what it means to provide "aid and comfort" to our enemy? Every time a candidate, or a Senator, or a Congressman gets on television and either questions our resolve or suggests bringing the troops home, that tells the terrorists that if they just keep killing Americans, they can outlast us! Why can't you guys locked inside the Beltway understand that? Al Jazeera echoes everything you guys say all over the Arab world and into Iraq and it certainly comforts Hussein and his twisted followers to hear this kind of talk! If you can't get this basic point, it's probably futile to point out the effect of this rhetoric on our troops and their morale. They hear constantly that their leadership and Commander in Chief are inept and have no plan. What message is that supposed to send to men and women in combat? Are you intentionally trying to break the spirit of our fighting forces?
"I remember we used to point out to Republicans that politics and partisanship stop at the water's edge, but somehow we seem to have exempted ourselves from this philosophy and we seem- as a party- to revel in the hypocrisy.
"I haven't decided on whether I will sit out in '04, but I hear nothing from any of the presidential candidates that matches my values or even comes close. Worse, they seem to revel in attacking the Bush Administration which is fine, but they're not giving us their vision or plan. I watched the first two debates televised on Fox and I felt ashamed after each. Our party is coming across at the party of hate and obstruction and I'm not sure I want to those labels attached to me.
"I realize I'm not from your home state, but you are our party leader in the Senate and I have to do my part to try to wake you guys up to the damage you guys are doing! Please, it's not too late!"
W.Beatty

So you see why I was eager to post this for William. And you see why he is a friend. I'll never convince him to change parties, but he certainly see the problem the Democrats face!
State of the Democrats: The party that gave us George Wallace, Senator Robert Byrd (KKK Recruiter), and Senator Fritz Holllings (the governor of South Carolina that signed the legislation mandating the flying of the Confederate Flag over the State Capitol) now presume to sit in judgement and filibuster the appointment of minority and women judicial nominations. This elite bunch have waged open warfare to stop the advancement of women and minorities in the judiciary because these nominations don't fit their ideal of mainstream America. When you look at the leaders of this party, you have to wonder what values they consider to be "mainstream" when Byrd is in, but Estrada is out. Quick, why did Trent Lott have to resign as Majority Leader in the Senate? The racial hypocrisy of the Democrats today is nauseating. The only thing MORE nauseating is the way the U.S. media lets them get away with it....
Attack on Jessica: Apparently we are now at a point, culturally, that Jessica Lynch's name and reputation must be destroyed. Four years ago, four male soldiers on the Kosovo/Macedonia border were taken as prisoners, before hostilities, and they gave up their vehicle, comm gear, and weapons without so much as a struggle. When they were released- RELEASED- they were each presented with NINE seperate medals to celebrate their bravery and valor. Now, Jessica Lynch, who was seriously injured and captured behind enemy lines during combat, is under attack once again- from the U.S. media. For some reason, she will not be allowed to tend to the business of therapy and healing in peace because in the mind of the media, she does not meet their elite criteria for "hero". No, this is "Bush's War" so there must be something fishy here. If we dig far enought into her life, we can thoroughly discredit her and destroy her reputation- THAT WILL SHOW BUSH! Another sacrifice on the alter of extreme liberalism...... our media should feel SHAME!

They Waited: Europe waited while conditions for World War I grew and eventually the U.S. had to come in and help. Europe waited while Hitler started gobbling up ground and eventually the U.S. had to come in and help get their countries back. Europe waited while the Balkans erupted in chaos in the '90s and twice the U.S. had to force the action to stop killing and mass murder. Tell me, exactly what is it in the history of Europe that the Democrats in the U.S. see that says the world would be better off if the U.S. brings European countries into the Iraqi fray? Attention Democrats- Germany, France , and Belgium have opted out! How exactly would you propose we make them break their historical pattern? Here's a clue- I ain't going to happen! Either the U.S. does it with a couple dependable allies, or it doesn't get done!
Tribunals Anyone?: Anyone else curious as to why there's no outcry from Belgium for War Crimes Tribunals against Hussein, Ansar al-Islam, al-Qaeda, and the former Hussein loyalist for attacking Red Cross facilities, for attacking U.N. facilities, for using Ambulances packed with explosives to murder? These are ALL recognized as War Crimes, yet no one seems disposed to push forth and file charges with the International Criminal Court or the World Court. Very curious....

Ideology Stolen: A bunch of murderous cowards have stolen the name “Islam” from a great religion and have used it as an excuse for murdering innocent Iraqi’s including women and children. In the stolen name of Islam, they have murdered Afghani’s, Africans, Americans, Europeans, and untold others. This group of soulless cowards seeks nothing less than domination over mankind under the supposed banner of Islam. And Muslims don’t seem very anxious to take the name back.
Now, in effort to advance their effort to enslave and murder Iraqi’s, they have stolen the Holy Days of Ramadan and attempted to turn these reverent days into a celebration of murder and killing.
Will Muslims ever fight to take back their religion and Holy Days?
