State of the Democrats Part IX- The Kerry Campaign; A Damn Shame: At some point after September 12th, 2001, someone in the Democratic Party observed how unified the country was following the 9/11 attacks. They also observed that the country had rallied behind the President. They then determined that, if they were ever to return to the White House, they must destroy that unity and destroy the President. They had to launch an all out campaign to squash the unity of the country and break the faith between the U.S. Armed Forces that are fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq and the President. Remember the good old days when politics stopped at the water's edge? A shame; a damn shame.
