Old Town Ale House in Chicago: The Old Town Ale House on the north side of Chicago has posted a nude portrait of Sarah Palin in their establishment and on their website (link: Old Town Ale House). It is the political season and Governor Palin is a public figure, so I'm quite positive they are immune from any legal challenges to their display.

I suppose in any political season any civil limits can be removed from any thoughts, ideas, or actions regardless of the effects on the families of the subject political figures.

I went to the website and looked at the portrait and I reflected on the hate they must feel to subject Governor Palin's family to the disgusting piece of work.

I also noticed the Old Town Ale House posts photos of their staff on their website. I reflected on the idea that now that the Old Town Ale House has publicly entered the political fray, and included the portrait publicly on their website, then the owner and staff are probably now considered public political figures.

Wouldn't be equally amusing if some enterprising young artist produced some nude portraits of the staff of Old Town Ale House and posted them on the internet? I'm sure their families will enjoy the portraits as much as Governor Palin's family- right? Just a though. A mere reflection.
